一首非常好听的歌曲，Never Enough～是电影 The Greatest Showman 里的插曲。我常常在淘宝和京东买买买的时候播放，出门逛街的时候脑海里也会时不时响起这首歌，为啥呢？因为买多少都永远不够（never enough）呀！

因为经常听这首歌，然后就留意到，各大音乐平台的歌词翻译让人看了一头雾水。拿出来都可以写一篇 commentary 了。我们来看看三个不同的版本。

看完之后，内心充满了疑惑。还望大家一起来解答：
1）是“屏住”呼吸，还是“摒住”呼吸？
2）“聒扰”是表示谢意的谦辞，用在这里合适吗？
3） Can’t let this moment end 哪里看出来“幻然”，或者“悄然”的意味？老实说，“幻然消逝”真的是一个词？是什么意思……
4）getting louder now，是什么在get louder呢？“再大点声”是让谁大声了，又哪里看出了“震撼人心”？
5）echoing怎么就成了“绝响”？绝响不是指失传的技艺吗？所以梦想失传了……
6）Towers of Gold are still too little到底是什么意思？竟然出现了三个不同的版本：依旧难寻；不够巍峨耸立；渺小如尘？
这只是粗浅的几个点，细挖的话还有更多。例如 towers of gold 里，towers是 “塔” 的意思，还是量词 “堆” 的意思？还有其他标记颜色的地方，也是让人困惑。
简单翻个大意：我试着屏住呼吸，让此刻停留，不愿让它结束，你激起了我心中的梦，梦想的声音逐渐变大，你能听到它的回声吗？没有了你，拥有万千聚光灯的光芒，或是从夜空偷来无数星辰，都不能让我满足，金银成山依旧不值一文，即便能坐拥全世界，也依旧觉得不够。
我算是看出来了，也不知道有没有看错。
网易云的歌词翻译很多都很文艺，有用古文的，有拽成语的，也不管原文说的啥，只要听起来够装，那就是了。
酷狗的歌词呢，则是平民化路线，有时候土土的，有时候直译得让人摸不着头脑，甚至有机器翻译的嫌疑。
